  • Do you recommend a straight pipe on a Supercharged Setup?

I did a search on the no cat topic, some liked it some didn't, but i didn't find any info about it on supercharged applications. Does stefan have his off? What will it sound like? Is it very loud and ricey? I know i wil never get that v8 sound but something decent at high rpms would be nice. Will it help performance do to the forced air going into the engine?

    thanks

It will reduce backpressure and help the engine breahte better, of course, but the work of keeping it street legal every 2 years is a pain. My idea when I get forced induction is to take the headers and put 2 cats in like on the ls1's and then have the y-pipe. That will be a ways into the future, though. I would say that w/ a supercharger, removing the cat may get you 10-20 rwhp, maybe.

Unless this is recent, you are wrong. He has a Magnaflow highflow cat on his 'bird. Cost was $190. Look on his website.
