Borla sounds much different on a 3.4. I was talking about a 3.8 all along FYI. He has a 3.8.

I thoroughly enjoy my borla exhaust setup on my car and I think it sounds wicked. the borla catback system is adjustable so you can regulate how much back pressure you want so you dont lose a whole lot of low-end torque. you can put the block-off plate on and run all the exhaust through the muffler if you want, or you can select any size baffle to insert to change the sound and back pressure. And its also really simple to do.

but sound-wise, when I leave the baffle off it sounds real nice and throaty, especially since I gutted my cat :D

                      But B&B is Better! :D

It all depends on taste & preference. Like that other guy mentioned just listen to other cat-backs. Chances are, as long as you run a highflow cat, headers & at least a 2.5" mandrel bent I-pipe, your exhaust is gona sound good regardless of what muffler you throw on there. Unless you go for a 5" super fart cannon!

Everyone is going to have different opinions on cat-back's.

Even two people with the same cat-back's on their cars will sound different if the induction is done on one of them and not the other...

Some mufflers sound better with the induction done, and some without.... some with headers/hiflo cat....even engine temp will effect the sound...etc... you get the idea...

If you're trying to decide what muffler sounds the best, then go listen to a few different styles yourself on similar cars in person. People are always going to be biased to what their opinion of a GREAT sounding muffler should be.

well the reason i never bought a borla was
                          1# Price
2# everyone says how great they sound and I wasnt impressed at all for that price yah its interchangable blah blah if i dont like the sound I dont want different tones of sounds i dont like.
I actually am thinking about buying the SLP Loudmouth
