  • Still getting EGR codes. I need some suggestions.

My car as been throwing a 76(EGR soleniod #2) and a 77(EGR soleniod #3) code for a while now. It starts out fine, but after a few minutes of driving, the SES light turns on. I replaced the EGR valve and reset the codes. Now I'm still getting 76 & 77. The exhaust-to-EGR tube and the EGR-to-intake tube were cleaned out with brake cleaner to remove all the carbon. I'm tempted to do that again, but I really don't want to if I don't have to. I don't have my own scan tool, but is there a way I can test the wiring? I've heard that I could check ohms for each solenoid, but I really don't know what I'm looking for.

A 94 it's time to replace it and the seal. I would go to www.worldparts.com it sends your request to dealers across the US go with cheapest.
