I've searched and found other debates. which intake has provided better gains? I know they do the same thing, but the little differences are what I'm trying to find out about. Is the extra $40 for the FTRA worth it over the Slp Cai?

Your sig says you already have the FTRA but haven't installed it yet. So why are you worried about the cost difference???
FTRA is better because it has the extra scoop that goes in front of the radiator....SLP doesn't have that.

he has connections w/ a local parts store, and he has a 98' ls1 z28 that he's workin on. he's doing bolt-on's for now and wanted to see which would get more power also. like i said the cai suck the slp only gave me .1 reduction. you can make your own ram air setup likei did and see .3 reduction. the tests were done the same day 3 runs with cai 3 runs with my ramairComment
