  • 2.8 S-10 headers on 3.4 camaro?

I volunteer at the Assault on Mt Mitchell Bike Race every year at the rest stops, and this biker was talking to me about my car. He said he had one like it, and he put headers on it from an S-10. I was thinking "Why haven't I heard of this before?"

It would definitely be cost effective, and I'm not much worried about it being difficult to connect to the Y-Pipe since the shop can custom fit that. I just wanna know if it's possible and effective, and if anyone has or has heard of someone trying this.

seriously seriously doubt it. i am sure power steering pumps, oil dipsticks and AC brackets are all in different spots.

heads are probably different too, so the exhaust ports might not line up.

exhaust ports on 2.8-3.4 heads are same. basically same head. Clearance will be the main issue. I don't thnk it would fit, as they wouldn't fit a thirdgen car and the trucks have a lot more roomto deal with.

i talked with someone else who said that it would match up to the engine, but on the engine bay it came out of, there was more room on the sides, and the downward angle to the y-pipe may be more extreme. Oh well, it was a try!
