I was thinking of running a 3' pipe that turns into dual pipes from High flow cat with no muffler and dual tips on each end. What do you think? Deep and nice or Ricey?

    1. There is really not a lot of room to put 3 inch duals.
    2. I was running with a highflow cat and no catback for a while and it sounded loud and deep but around 4 grand it started sounding like a rice out civic.
    3. Dont do it.

I think it would be possible if you do it close enough to the rear of the car. Just make sure you have like a cai to help get more air into the car too.

First, yes, you can fit dual pipes under our cars, just not 3". Also, try gettine 2 cats put on before the y-pipe on the headers and run a true dual exhaust with 2 2.5 in pipes with an x-pipe crossover just before the rear axle and then get your choice of tips. An ls1 did it down in san diego and It didn't sound too bad. I know there is a difference in v6 and v8 sound, but the idea was solid enough, and he ran 2.75" pipes, but was a pain to install. The x-pipe should get rid of the rice sound. But then again, why do you want to emmulate the v8's so much? If you like them that much, go out and buy one. Hell, I would if I had the money and could afford the insurance.
