That is almost exactly like mine! Great location, sounds good IMO, and don't have to jack up car or crawl under car to uncap it.

That cutout is before the muffler buddy. It's a single outlet muffler. ;)

I wonder if the muffler shop can rig my cutout from summit in the same spot. That's a perfect location to put a cutout.

On our cars, the pipe goes over the axle on the passenger side, then there's the cut-out, then there's a muffler. Look more carefully.

TrikdOuTbyrd, his muffler only has one pipe going into the muffler on the passengers side and one pipe coming out of the muffler on the drivers side.

The Y87 muffler or any other dual outlet muffler has the in pipe in the same spot but has an extra out pipe on the passengers side of the muffler on the part towards the front of the car.

Be sure and note that the picture was taken from the rear of the car, not from underneith.

                    Hey,

I like the idea where the cutout is, and i was wondering how much did it cost u to have it done at the shop? Thanks for your time.

wouldnt placing the cutout CLOSER to the cat make it flow better? It would "dump" the exhaust out quicker.

yes it would, but then again you could lose the alot of low end. Persoannly I think tis a great place for the CUtout.

                              My cutout is cheaper

I unhook, the exhaust right behind the CAT, its bolted on there, and jsut run with the CAT, but there is a severe loss of torque, but luckily I have an old semi clogged CAT, that helps with that problem. I was thinking of trying a setup with the muffler yanked, and the I-pipe in place but I am planning something different.
