Well, car started acting a tiny bit funny and i heard a light ticking / woosh sound so I checked the header bolts, sure enough several were kinda loose. Tighetened them all up and voila, smooth idle, no noises, strong as the first time I drove it once again! Tighten your headers!

Especially when new.
Tighten them down, start the car, let it warm up, shut car off, tighten down again, then start car up, drive 50 miles, shut off, retighten... then 100 miles etcRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

When I put mine on I tightned them once a week for a month...then once a month for a while...now they don't come loose.
AND I used the gaskets that come with them that everyone claims get destroyed...well mine are still holding strong a year later. You just have to take care to keep your headers tight.Shawn<br />2002 Silver W68 Firebird
