hi,
i am going to change out the exhaust this weekend. I am going one of two different ways. Here is the first idea.
1) Getting the American Thunder z-28 catback and also order a 3 inch highflow cat
or
2) getting the American thunder catback to our car and also a highflow cat.
oh yea almost forgot what about a cut out? easy to clamp on? would i need to cut the pipes...i have a nice sawzall that i could use cut out before or after the cat? Also if i want to see more improvment do i need a new s pipe or does the kit come with it? anything you guys can think of that i would need to convert to get better sound and performance that the kits do not come with both the z28 kit and our cars kit?
question will both cats just hook up or will i need to do something special? Im just planning on clamping the stuff on and eventually if there are leaks i will get it welded but i dont kplan on welding it anytime soon...ill be happy with just the clamps. I have heard everything about sound vs siffernt mufflers but how will the cat backs from the same companies compare? Would the 3inch catback sound better then the 2.5 with the resinator in the kit? And how hard would the cats be to attach the 3iinch and the 2.5 inch..?
Also i plan to get some sorta forced induction setup in the future so the three would be a plus here right but im not getting it anytime soon and wouldnt mind replacing it again when i do get a setup.
