i know i cant afford headers right now so i decided to get a custom y pipe and maybe a high flow cat. reason being is i have a friend who can do the y pipe for almost nothing. actually he is a friend of a friend. what size pipe sholud i think about getting?

2.5" from exhaust manifolds to 3" where it meets the cat. the cat inlet part is 3" so it'll match perfect. forewarning though. the y-pipe won't work with any headers so when you eventually do get headers you'll have to toos the y-pipe.i was swimming in the carribean. animals were hiding behind the rocks except for the little fish, but they told me the squid\'s trying to talk to me. oink, oink. where is my mind?
