I hear a buzzing sound from my exhaust sometimes, when i accelerate or decelerate. Is this normal? or is this a problem with my cat? or what?

Could be that either you have a small weld break if it is welded or that the clamps are loose.

When I first got my muffler about a month later i heard this loud rattling sound it went away after a couple days. It happened at like idle when i was going like 20mph or at 60mph around 3000rpms somewhere like that, doesn't really matter. It always has this little rattling noise you can hear slightly. Dunno if this is the same thing or not but someone told me it could be my Y-pipe or more practical the CAT, i'm going to replace my CAT hopefully it'll get rid of that damn rattle. You get use to it after a while though.

jack the car up and get up under there to look for pipes rubbing against each other. check the crossmembers that run under the exhaust also.

it is your exhaust manifolds. gm makes theres with small piping inside your manifolds that eventually corrodes---comes loose--- amd vibrates during accelerations how to fix it? get headers or turn your radio up lol
