What size is yours amphilophus? is the the 3 in? Some people have said that the 2.5 in sounds better on our cars than the 3 in. but i'm not sure

Yeah im getting the 2.5 in. That order number is universal for the flowmaster system on jegs.com. Just go there and type it in at the top. You will see it.

I was just confused cause I saw a bunch of different people syaing I had to also get an S pipe? from SLP. There main factory is about 45 mins away from my house. Ive been there before cause I got brand new take off rims with rubber for 500 bucks. :D

Ok, gotta clear some things up here. My friend has a 40 series muffler that is 1 in 2 out so yes you can have dual/dual with 40 series. The diffewrence is the muffler itself, the insides. I'm not too sure but I believe 40 series is a 2 chamber while 80 series is a 3 chamber. Never heard 40 on a v6 f-body before. Heard it on a few imports though and I was strangly impressed.

Hey guys. I got the 1993-95 LT-1 w/Single Catalytic Converter, 2.50'' DOR Exit, Crossflow 80-Series Muffler, American Thunder system for Christmas. Taking it to the shop on Thursday and was wondering if this system will fit properly on the car? I know that this is the LT-1 set-up but I wont need anything else to bring to the shop?
Also will the pipes on the flowmaster fit the stock cat?

Thanks guys for your posts. This is the first mod I have done to the car and want to make sure I don't need to send this back to Jegs.

Should be fine, the "installation kit" that came with my loudmouth is for V6/LT1, so I believe the two have the same exhaust set up.

0-.05 seconds. its just a muffler.

then again, if te muffler tip is bigger than one of the cylenders in your engine, it is at least 40 HP and you'll gain roughly 2 seconds and 10 MPH on your trap speed and time. just ask vin diesel.

haha yeah, I took it to the shop Thursday and they called me back and told me it would be in theu pwards of 160 bucks to fabicate it to fit my car. So I called Jegs and i think im ordering the 2.5in 3.8 set-up that i should have done before.

They said it wouldnt "bolt right up" to the car bc it was for the LT-1. Now people hear have told me it should bolt up with minor work.Is this shop bsing me and are lazy, or cant these systems that are for the LT-1 cars bolt up to ours?

Im sure the 2.5in will be fine, but Im trying all i can do to see if this one will fit w/o the hassel the shop told me. This shop btw isnt strictly an exhaust shop. So this is where I stand. Thank you guys for your help and replies
