• B&B triflo times tonight

Well I tried to do this last week and it was pro class so I could not run. But tonight I will post before and after triflo times. My norm without the B&B is usually 16.1- give or take a tenth. Im hoping to beet my best of 15.9 tonight with my new exhaust... I will post the new times within 7 hours.

Yea I know, they say it gave like 13 rwhp on the dyno but thats very hard to beleave. If it dose do at leaste half that then Im hoping to gain a solid tenth tonight. Hoping.....OH it dose sound sweet. I now wonder how I lived so long without upgrading the exhaust. It makes the car actually feel like a modded car... If you know what I mean.

They didn't just say it. They've dynoed it!! 13rwhp and 14lb-ft. Isn't that like 16hp and 17lb-ft at the crank??

Well hears the reality guys. I ran the car 6 times tonight, making shore the car was nice and cool before each run.I did everything I could tonight to make the best runs possible but I overlooked somthing very obvious. I went to the track with my tank half full as oppossed to usualy just under one quarter. Never the less I still edged out my best time but only by a little more then one onehundreth of a second. Hey any night you improve your best is a good night...No matter how little. Things I noticed were that my 60 foot now averages 2.3 as oppossed to 2.4 and also my quarter mile trap speed averaged 1-1.5 mph faster than my norm. These averages are based on 40 time slips that I use to compare all times, modds, ect....Overall I am impressed with my gains and next time I will ensure I go with my normal amount of gas. Also it was over 70 somthing degrees tonight, well over probaly not far from 80 and I stii barely beet my best time reguardless of the extra wait from gas and it being 10-15 degrees hotter then the night I acheived my best. I feel confident that I did gain a solid tenth from this modd. But Id realisticaly say that I gained no more than 2 tenths from this mod. When I actually have a timeslip showing this tenth or more I will post it. Laron

2 or 3 tenths are good for a 13 horsepower mod gain, I would imagine.

can't wait til mine gets in...

Are you running with those 18 inch Z06 wheels? That definately has a factor.

No I dont have the 18's on in the rear. But even if I did it would not matter cuz this comparison is based on everything being the same besides the new exhaust. If I were to put on diferrent tires and do weight reductions and things like that it would not be fair because the gains would be a miss representation of the actual b&b triflo gains.I would love to say last night - thanks to the triflo I beet my all time best by 2 tenths. But in reality I didnt even beet it enough to change my sig... But I did beet my best. Take that any way you want. But I will say with confidence that I do feel on the right night I can beet my best by atleaste 1 tenth were oppossed to my stock exhast I felt I had reached the plateau
