Ok I know this is a stupid question.... I just got a B&B triflo installed. Now I thought that when you pay that kind of money for somthing you get everything. But while installing the scu 2000 I noticed somethings. Firstly I still have the same old catalyc converter dont I? All my new stuff goes from the halfway point of the vehicle and back. From the halfway point and up is all old stuff. What are your reccommendations as far as getting a cat or straight pipe and also any thing else I might need to really have a truely complete exhaust?

I just read the mod ency. and it makes sense to me now... Its called a cat-back cuz its everything up to the catalyc converter. Shouldhave read that part better the first time cuz I would have ordered everything atonce. Still any oppinnions on what to get would be good. Straight pipe or random technology? Pros/ Cons????Powerdyne 98 a4 convert

stock 16.6 @ 86

6 lbs boost 15.1 @ 90

04 A4 2.73 geared white Corvette Coupe

stock- 13.5 @ 103

LS6 conversion-13.1 @ 107
http://members.cardomain.com/greenglow98 ( pics of intercooled powerdyne)

Thats a good price. Is it better to get somthing like that or just a straight pipe? Without all the legal mumbo- jumbo. I would assume a straight pipe would get you more power but then again if your system is to free flowing cant you actually loose power due to the fact that you have very little back pressure? Whats your opinion...Powerdyne 98 a4 convert

stock 16.6 @ 86

6 lbs boost 15.1 @ 90

04 A4 2.73 geared white Corvette Coupe

stock- 13.5 @ 103

LS6 conversion-13.1 @ 107
http://members.cardomain.com/greenglow98 ( pics of intercooled powerdyne)

DO NOT straight pipe it. Not only will it sound terriable but you will lose low end also. Best bet is the catco, for 50bucks it is well worth it. 2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7 litres of raw power!!
Nothing but a 6!
Do you know for sure? John 3:18

Yup, can't beat them.
Straight pipe can somewhat be heard to a trained ear.

Get the CATCO, it helps, it will also make the B&B sound better. Don't forget about headers. I saw from another post that you got a charger so if your gonna go all out like that get headers too. :D I may do the same myself. All I need is the gears and posi and I have everything thing else I need. All I gotta do now is convince myself that a charger is really worth the money Red 1999 Firebird M5
Whisper Lid,Borla Catback,K&N,Dual Friction Center Force Clutch,Hurst Shifter w/Lou\'s Short Stick,!FRA,Suncoast Ramair hood,160 Thermo,!maf,Chrome ZO6 Wheels, Painted Calipers, CIA Headers, Taylor Wires, NGK Spark Plugs, 3\" Catco, Jet Chip Stage II, BMR STB, LCA, PHR, SFC, Fan Switch, FTRA
Old Dyno Numbers: 183 RWHP, 217 RWTRQ
http://community.webshots.com/user/redsixer

Yea I feel like a real dumba$$ now cuz I got the 2.5 inch triflo wich I do love but I should have read more before I got it cuz I read one of Stephans old post and he said having a 2.5 catback with a supercharger is like stabbing your self in the foot.... Well to late for the 3 inch now cuz I can just barely afford the charger install. Im gonna repeat Alexcab7's question and say will a 3 inch catco be a good idea with my 2.5 inch catback for the supercharger or will it be better to just go 2.5 all the way through? Upgrading to a full 3 inch system is out of the question for my bank account.Powerdyne 98 a4 convert

stock 16.6 @ 86

6 lbs boost 15.1 @ 90

04 A4 2.73 geared white Corvette Coupe

stock- 13.5 @ 103

LS6 conversion-13.1 @ 107
http://members.cardomain.com/greenglow98 ( pics of intercooled powerdyne)
