  • Pacesetter headers are Califonia legal!!!

Found this while searching the CARB sight. 70-1208 is the part # for 3.4 headers and 70-1209 is the # for you 3.8 guys.

You can search for other parts here

pacesetter announced they got their CARB # a while ago. Good site to be able to double check items though.

I always here that cali guys cant get their headers installed because they can't prove it. Their website doesn't even say their legal. I actually found this info in the exhaust systems area and not the headers area. This should help clear up any confusion.

I wish rk's were legal. Especially since the price dropped on the 3.4 headers to $350, but rk says offroad use only.

They need a CARB# which they don't have. I'm sure they'll pass the sniffer but you'll fail the visual. I checked cali's site for a # but, rksport isn't even there.

The reason I posted is to allow people get the paperwork for there legal parts and see what else is legal. In cali you must have the paperwork in the car so you can prove your mods are legal. Otherwise it doesn't matter unless the CARB # is stamped on the part. There's a lot of aftermarket parts that will pass the sniffer but cali likes to make companies jump though hoops and spend large amounts of money to get them certified.
