I always here that cali guys cant get their headers installed because they can't prove it. Their website doesn't even say their legal. I actually found this info in the exhaust systems area and not the headers area. This should help clear up any confusion.
They need a CARB# which they don't have. I'm sure they'll pass the sniffer but you'll fail the visual. I checked cali's site for a # but, rksport isn't even there.
The reason I posted is to allow people get the paperwork for there legal parts and see what else is legal. In cali you must have the paperwork in the car so you can prove your mods are legal. Otherwise it doesn't matter unless the CARB # is stamped on the part. There's a lot of aftermarket parts that will pass the sniffer but cali likes to make companies jump though hoops and spend large amounts of money to get them certified.
take the carb# from the paccsetters and stamp it on the rks oops im just kidding dont do that... no one heard me say that
thank god they dont do that stuff here in alabama i'd fail like a mofo, my car is in aweful shape i gotta fix it up soon or im gonna die from the gas prices and odd noises coming from underneath and in the back
