Anyone on here know which series muffler Virus (projectvirus.com) uses in its American Thunder setup? I love the way it sounds and I want that exact same setup on my car. My car is an M5 so it really won't get raspy unless im racing. I know Virus gets its throaty sound pretty much from the headers, and I will be getting those in the future. I'll be getting my catbacks custom made at meinike and I'll be getting 3'' piping into a flowmaster muffler and 3'' chrome tips. I just need to need to know which muffler will give me that throaty sound at idle and mid RPMs. I have heard sound clips of the 80 series on a Corvette and I think the 80 series totally screwed up the sound of an american legend, it may sound completely different on a 3800 but im trying to steer clear of the 80 series.

Thanks

Its the flowmaster american thunder catback lol. Call them and ask them which muffler they use on their catback.

RKSport headers------->"Almost a Cat"(hallowed cat)------>3" flowmaster 80 series.

I think the headers and hallowed cat make the differance above just the catback!

I posted this a while back.
They are not the best clips but all I had was a digital camera that would record 15 seconds of live video and sound..

First clip is just just reving the car. There is a slight pop (I'll work on that later)

Reving

Second is from a roll in second gear through the entire RMP range and into 3rd. (from 20 miles and hour to about 70, then i let it coast till my camera stopped)

second gear entire RPM range

My set up:
Coated pacesetter headers
hi-flow catco
3 inch mandel bent piping (over the axel part is from the american thunder setup)
flowmaster 80 series single 3 inch in and duel 3 inch out.
With 4" rolled tips
