True Duals idea?

Ok heres my idea, and please be constructive as i am not super smart when it comes to exhaust but i think i understand enough for this idea..

CIA headers, have a pipe off them into a highflo cat then out and into a dynomax bullet muffler and then out with say some nice shiney tips, just duplicate for each side or is it harder to do because of say, ground clearance issues, im guessing its not going to be just a straight line out the back, itll have to go up and down left and right to dodge other parts correct? If i am lowering my car with eibach, will this custom setup be difficult? also, if I were to have flanges welded onto all my parts, and just have like a gasket inbetween to prevent leaks, would this be a simple way to change out mufflers, cats, and that sorta thing? i think it would be neat to have the CIAs BOLTED to the pipe that connects to the cats, which is bolted to the cats and then the cats will be bolted to the pipe that bolts to the muffler yadda yadda... hmmm that sounds like a lot of flanges... hell screw that ill just have them weld everything ...i guess you can just cut it out and weld again right? i dont want to hurt my headers tho.... will true duals sound good? with the dynomax setup? i like their mufflers, cheap. i think it was domonic that did the true dual setup a while back. after he had it done his complaints where it was ungodly loud and it resonated in the cab (i believe)... plus it sits low too...

I searched but couldnt find the old posting ;(

I think if executed better it would be a great setup. Of course it'll be loud, it's bullet mufflers:) I've been debating going to something like this, as with the right parts it'll have virtually no rasp and still perform a good or better than any other Y-pipe based catback.

I have True Duals.. if you don't like Loud then don't get them.. They are louder than any of the current available exhaust systems available for our cars. I wouldn't use Bullets on a V6...just doesn't sound good on a 6.. I used Moroso Spiral Flows and they're pretty cool and flow slightly better than the Dynomax's. If you want to see something similar to my set up got to Lanesperformance.com and look at the customer true duals for LS-1's. That's what I based my system on.

my friend has true duals on his 87' Iroc-Z was like that when he bought it, but i dont think i like it.. have to have smaller pipes prolly for backpressure.. and this past week we worked on taking out his old interior and putting in interior from his old camaro that he totalled when he rear ended me and totalled my first firebird.. sounds confusing. but anyways when we took the carpet out under the rear seats the metal was all hammered up and stuff because they needed to make more room for the mufflers to fit. really rigged i think, but whatever sounds alright maybe will get sound clip from it soon

for our cars, going true-dual will require a lot of fabricating. Honestly, if I really wanted true-duals, I'd get everything done custom, from headers to pipes. I get a custom set of long-tube, equal length headers made specifically for my car, prolly 1 3/4" diameter, then have them collect into 2.5" collectors w/ dual 2.5" cat's, then to an x-pipe and into a pair of either bullit or spintech mufflers and dumped just before the rear axle.

That's just me, if I ever wanted to do it, which I never will because it's a waste of time, money, and weight for our motor size.

what about the texas sp true dual exhaust set up, would this work well with our cars, what kind of fabrication would be needed

personally i havent heard a camaro or firebird v6 with true duals... however, i HAVE heard a v6 stang with true duals... and that didnt sound good
