HAZ-Matt: I guess you could say its a theory, but if you think about it it kinda sorta makes sense.. I think alot of the drone is really dependent on the construction of the muffler. All i am saying is that I ahve had 9 exhausts on my car, trying to find the best one, and i say SLP 2OTL is the best I have had.

Magnaflow is nice, I like the sound. the noise inside the car doesnt really get to me.
Thanks for the link I already bookmarked it. I guess it's between this one a and the TSP Rumbler now

Dynomax will still have the drone. I was in the same boat. I switched to take-off Z28 and that had no drone, but sucked in performance and tone compared to Dynomax Super Turbo. If anything, I am going to get some underbody sound deadner and then probably but some dynamat on the trunk to see if it helps. The tone on the super turbo sounded real good with just the muffler and not touching your stock pipes.

wow so the edelbrock drones that bad? i heard such good things about it. Im looking for a fairly quiet exhaust at crusing speeds, but decent sounding and louder at WOT. If the edeclbrock isnt that good, then im stuck between the hooker and b&b. Any suggestions? some sound clips would be nice

another vote for Billy Boat,,,no drone at freeway speeds and no rasp. Initially it was Loud, after it burned in some, it toned down and sounds good.

My trans am take off has 0 drone and very very little rasp. If you aren't looking for big performance gains i would suggest the v8 take off.
