I have searched and read about every post on headers. Can anyone tell me what hp gains I would get with a set of Pacesetter headers ?

maybe like 4-6 hp depends on the rest of the exhaust setup, but i could be wrong it seem that no one here realy dyno just the headers.

its not going to net you much on its own, but it will support getting larger gains with future mods like cam, heads, nitrous, FI, etc.

headers wont give you large numbers off the bat. they pretty much just open up the door for bigger things. its a nice way to complete the exhaust when youve finished everything else. 4 hp could be abour right, but it will be different for everyone (especially depending on what manifolds your starting out with... 98 still has the old lincoln log manifolds correct?)

Correct. 95-99's had the log manifolds. 2000-2002 got the tubular.

Would I be correct if I assumed then that changing over from the tubulars to headers would net you a smaller gain than from the logs?

yup! You may not even net a gain with tubular manifolds.

                Thanks,
From what I'm reading here, it sounds like headers would compliment the powerdyne S/C I'm installing.
My major concern is an old manafold bolt breaking when I remove them, thus creating a nightmare for 4 to 6 hp.

Thanks. I'm still set on ordering the CIA headers, but was wondering what the benifit of them would be over the tubular manifolds. Thanks again
