    i got the american thunder flowmaster 80 series part #17357 the 2.5" one to put on my 1997 3.8L camaro rs and was reading the post about how the high flow cats came to life so what size cat would i need to get running everthing to the cat stock to fit the stock pipes with my new flowmaster? i dunno if that makes any sense(im new to the exhaust game) but ill see what you guys say and try to explain better if no know can help. thanks andrew

    An exhaust shop should be able to make either a 2.5 or 3" cat fit no problem, just depends how big you wanna go.

        It would be best to have an exahust shop do it unless you can weld. With a high flow cat and a 3inch I-pipe that car will really come to life.
