i have a 95 3.4l camaro and one thing i've been looking into now is my intake. Since i am still in high school i don't have the biggest budget in the world which leads me to this question:

Is a 200 dollar SLP CAI going to be worth the extra 150 dollars over something off of ebay like this?:

my buddy has one of thoughs on his 3.4 he has a fan on button control in it though. they are alright, better from stock thats forsure, but the slp is a great buy if u could put the money together for it- In HS it was my best purchase cause the one u show looks like a standard ricer intake, and the slp looks more pro-

Since my cars an automatic and i'm not going to be able to seriously mod up my car alot anyway, i probably won't be timing my car at all.

So basically what i'm asking is will there be a big difference in performance between the cheapy ebay ones or the SLP CAI?

I would think there would be a decent difference between the two. by the looks of that one it seems to draw hot air from the engine bay, and the slp draws colder air from below the car.
