Don't know if this is drivetrain, suspension, or exhaust, but here goes. Lately I've been getting this noise coming from the rear left side of my car that is a little higher pitched and louder than my exhaust (borla). It comes and goes randomly, I don't hear it on the freeway, and can hear it more frequently while turning. Hole in exhaust? Clogged exhaust? Bad cat? Suspension stuff? Beats me...I need ideas fast.
BTW, I have 3.08 gears with no LSD.

I have a little rattle in the back of my car as well, I think it may be a loose heat shield or something, I'm actually going to take it apart tommarrow morn to try and find out whats goin on.

Either that, or I do have a clog on the right side....I feel a lot more heat coming from that side than the left, and I don't think that's normal. Could be what's making my car run hot

Is it like a rattle? I had a thing like that going on a while back and figured it was just the heat shield. Then I had to do replace my o2 sensors, so I dropped my cat down and took out a fist-size peice of the insides out that had been rolling around. Now it has run great ever since.
Oh, one thing to keep in mind. Be sure to keep an eye on your egr valve because I had one go bad and I think it was because of that chunk of cat. I figure that the chunk would roll back and clog up the pipe when I hit the gas, which was making the egr valve have to vent to relieve the pressure(something it isn't supposed to do) and make a faint tss-tss-tss-tss sound, and ended up burning up my egr valve.
I had that same problem with my borla, had to get a thick peice of rubber and glue it onto the metal peice that it was hitting. I don't have to worry about that now because I have the american thunder cat-back.

you will need to pry at it w/ a screwdriver. If those things come loose, it will sound like a buzz (high pitched, very loud, usually when about to upshift in an auto).
You can fix it with jb weld...
