I just ordered a high flow cat. i work at a motorcycle shop so i was just got to put it in. can you remove just the y-pipe and not the manifolds? can anyone tell me how too or give me some help? what would be the easiest what to do it?

you can just remove the y-pipe. there are two nut and bolts on each side. real simple. you'll see when you get under there

yeah, WD-40 would be good to do, but he has a 2002 and my 2000 wasnt hard at all

Would it just be easier to take the y off? i mean i wanna make sure these a good solid welds. i got a carsound 3in in/out. im going to take the rest of the pipe off and just run a turn down for now. over the next 2 or 3 weeks ill save up my money and get the loudmouth. should my cat just slide right onto the y-pipe. ive heard thats its 3 in but im not sure. thanx!<a href=\"http://cardomain.com/id/articacid\" target=\"_blank\">2002 35th Anniv.
