has anyone here tried the Texas Speed true duals cat-back yet? I was about ready to have my dad order them and had the money and everything but he thinks that the kit will not work because of the fact our cars have only one cat. Does anyone know if the front of the true duals goes right into two cats and then to the manifolds or does it bolt right to the manifolds and bypass the cats thus making it illegal. Also if anyone has a sound clip of the Texas Speed true duals in action that would help. Thanks

No V6 car has them yet. They were built to fit on the ends of an LS1 longtube header. However...A good exhaust shop could modify the kit to fit stock manifolds or even aftermarket headers. It is an offroad kit, so you would have to purchase 2 new cats and have them fabicated in if you need to pass a smog check.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

More like pathetic and raspy, V6s do NOT sound good with true duals, it's one thing the V8 guys can do that we can't. But go ahead and try, I'll bet you get rid of them within weeks cuz it'll sound like *** when the car is actually moving i.e. not just idling.2002 Black Firebird:
A4, Y87, W68, T-tops
Best NA ET: 15.16 @ 90
http://members.cardomain.com/darksde02

It looks like I am going to be the test-fit car for this kit on a V6. I think it'll sound pretty good on a modified motor for sure!!! Stock motor should also be good. People love the Rumbler setup, and this will be just as free flow, but gets rid of the unequal length y-pipe setup. That should eliminate alot of the rasp:) Also, the bullet mufflers incorporated into the kit make for a deep rasp free sound. I think you might change your mind about true duals when you hear them done correctly!www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

If I do not get the true duals I will be definetly getting the SLP loudmouth setup. How does your rumbler cat-back sound compared to the loudmouth kit? Im looking for a kit that has a sweet idle and good sound below 4k RPM. One thing im worried about is if I purchase a kit from you, an exhaust shop will not install them from what I've heard. I really don't feel like getting flows at Meinike because of the way they sound and I've heard bad things about them. Also does anyone know if you buy the SLP loudmouth kit, the installation kit and a 3'' Cat, It will be a pretty easy install? other than making the hole for the sensor. Does the rumbler cat-back require any installation kits, special fabrication, or does it just bolt right up out of the box?2000 Camaro, Pewter Metallic, M5 tranny, 3.23 gears, Hard Top,

Modifications:
SLP loudmouth (dual/dual tips)
MSD 8.5mm wires
K&N airfilter
SS hood (don\'t buy from fiberglassfabricators.com!!!)
Spec stage 2 clutch

The Rumbler is very similar to the LM. The biggest difference is that it has a bullet muffler incorporated into the I-pipe to cut down on that V6 rasp! If a shop will put on a LM, they will put on the Rumbler as well, since they are both 3" pipes. Same as the LM, you'll need the 30045 SLP adapter kit for install.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

if the kit includes a y-pipe just hook it on mine for a more stockish sound. I only have half the exhaust on my car anyway lol. Leave it on for a bit and then take it off.00\' firebird v6 5spd
201rwhp ---- 230 rwtq
\"Everyday I grow stronger...and further from you.\"
WARNING: Do not take any of my comments seriously unless they are technical in nature and then only at your own risk

What exactly is in the adapter kit? If its just a Y-pipe then any exhaust shop could make that.2000 Camaro, Pewter Metallic, M5 tranny, 3.23 gears, Hard Top,

Modifications:
SLP loudmouth (dual/dual tips)
MSD 8.5mm wires
K&N airfilter
SS hood (don\'t buy from fiberglassfabricators.com!!!)
Spec stage 2 clutch
