  • Texas Rumbler sound clip is forthcoming

The promised sound clip for my new exhaust should be ready tomorrow. It will be a sound clip of the Texas Speed Rumbler with a 3" Catco High Flow cat.

My friend and I recorded it tonight with a digital video camera. He is going to isolate the sound and encode it as an mp3 and then host it on his server.

Since he is hosting it there won't be any bandwidth limitations like you get from some of these free services.

I got it put on last Friday. The next day I took the car to Kansas City (from Omaha) and back (had tickets to the Cardinals-Royals). So the exhaust is pretty well burned in on the sound clip. It has a good 500 miles or more on it.

Little louder than I was expecting but I think it sounds pretty good. It does get a little ricey but not until 4000 rpm+. I think headers will make it sound real good.

you're awesome dude. i've been wanting the rumbler for some time now but i need money to buy it first and i've got other projects going on right now too. this'll probably help me decide to go with either the rumbler or keep looking. thanks man.

Sounds great man! i'm looking forward to it. I'm thinking about getting just a cat-back TSP w/ stock cat so I'll be curious as to the sound difference.. Stock cat=a lot quieter, right?

Generally yes, the stock cat is more restrictive and thus more quiet. Can't wait to hear it on a stock manifold hi-flow cat car!
