I have read some people do not get the SES light. I would wait to see if you get it then buy the sim. Might want to get your car inspected if it's getting close. This way it will give you time to see if you'll need to sim or not with out having to worry about inspections....

i just dont want to spend money on a sim if it aint needed. i would rather spend it on some new pipes. arent sims pretty expensive?

I had a SES light from a bad cat. I replaced the bad cat with a high flow catco and after a couple of weeks my SES light went off. So it must like the reading from the new cat even though it is a high flow one.

                  I have a 99.

I think it is hit or miss whether you need one or not. I would just wait until you get a light. If you do get a light get a sim, if not don't worry about it.

www.intense-racing.com has them. you might want to check out the casper sims as well. dont know a link for them. I think the guy sells them directly. search casper O2 sim in google.

better yet.... if you want, put everything together and you can try my sim out if you get a ses light. if it fixes it for you, then you can order one.

Yes, I did need it. I was getting a whole series of exhaust codes. Im down to one code now with the tune, front passenger manifold. The post cat sensor that the sim takes care of should be programmed out now anyway. I didnt have my scan tool to keep track of them after I put the sim in.
