Okay, I've been looking at this message board and I have done countless homework on exhaust systems and still can't think of what to put on my 2002 camaro. I want the loudest sound and I want it to sound good and add to my performance at the same time. I know everyone has a preference but truly there has to be one or 2 exhaust systems someone can give me a definite answer on. (price isn't really a problem. I like to put the best in my car)

Here's what I gathered so far.

    1. Stefan's setup at projectvirus.com is the best sounding V6 exhaust system (American Thunder Catback System w/ Random Tech 3" cat and RKsport Headers). Does this mean it will sound better then the other 2?

    2. B&B Tri flow is good, Mangus uses that on his camaro but yet I can't decide....maybe if they gave some clips?

    3. SLP Loudmouth. I have heard this is loud but I can't really find any good clips or confirmation wheater or not it's better then the above exhaust systems or how it sounds on a v6.

    Also I can't find a white face guage for our camaro's 98+.

Any help would be appreciated. I am doing a whole catback and catylac converter swap it will be 3". So everything but the headers are going to be replaced that has to wait till later.

Your best bet might be to just take the plunge. You'll never really know what you like until you hear them in person.

      1. Haven't heard Stefan's setup up but heard its awesome. Just remember he's pushing a lot more power then most of us (unless he set it up while the Virus was recently N/A)

      2. Also heard B&B was awesome, but expensive.

      3. If I remember correctly the Loudmouth sucks azz on the V6. A few members purchased them, and I remember one in particular that couldn't stand how bad it sounded.

IMO 3" all the way back is a bit much for a N/A fbody, you end up losing low-end torque, but its your decision.

If you did a search you would have heard my clips I posted of the B&B. Also B&B isn't the loudest which seems to be important to you. It's a little louder then stock, but sounds real nice. Not that annoying sound you get in the cabin that gives you a headache on long trips. I highly recommend it

Well Black Camaro, i have a 02 and i am soon gonna be redoing my exhaust. Here is what i am getting: American Thunder 3inch catback from summit along with a 3inch in/out Catco high flow cat. I will let ya know how it sounds once i have the system installed. It is pretty much simular to Stefan's. ;)
