Do any of you think that my exhaust would sound good with either of the following 2 setups? Right now I have all stock exhaust going into an 80 series Flowmaster and out 2 chrome tips and I don't like the "rice" sound it has, I want a deeper tone.

1. (Until I can afford headers),stock manifolds going into 3" pipe(if at all possible), all the way to the back and out the 2 tips. No cat.
2. Same thing except into the Flowmaster and out the back.

Where I live in Florida there are no emissions testing or laws, so I don't need the cat.

If you don't think any of these would do the trick, what do you have??

I could probly get u a whole new custom exhaust for like 500. + the shipping. Sounds mad beefy. And a set of custom headers for like 400 + shipping.

why get a whole new exhaust, he already has the muffler, just go buy the 3" i-pipe and (2) 45 degree bends for the S pipe.

3" all the way back from the Y pipe since you don't need a cat.

I would recommend a cat as our cars sound crappy without one. Catco makes a good cat and it is only 45bucks off of summit racing.

3" into 3 resonators. 1 in the I-pipe, and 2 out the back. quiet's it down a bit and adds a little backpressure for some midrange torque.

you dont need 3" straight pipes all the way back, you'd lose considerable amounts of torque, i'd suggest 2.5" or maybe 3" into a catco cat, either way, you'll see a small high end gain

maybe a quick glance at the Exhaust Page Might Help. and also get rid of all those peskey rumors about 2.5'' or 3'' piping.

I have 3" piping and saw little to no loss of torque...
