...and replaced it with some high-temp ducting. i drilled a hole in the airbox so the IAT sensor could go into it, and secured it with some rubber grommets. i also took some silicone sealant, cuz the hole i drilled was a little too big for the sensor, and filled in the spaces. not bad, took me like 20 minutes to a 1/2 hour to do, most of that was screwing and unscrewing the clamps on the hoses.
i took a lil test drive, and i was very surprised. pulls harder, and it sounds awesome! there was a HUGE difference in sound, both deeper and louder. i was actually laughing as i drove it cuz i liked the way it sounded. i used 4" ducting, perfect fit over the TB. I have like 18 feet of the ducting left, so if 9 people wanna do this, i'll send you 2 feet of ducting and some grommets to hold the IAT sensor. just email me about it, and i'll try and set something up.
