Will a Magnaflow 3 inch catback be as loud as a TSP Rumbler when I put it on? I have a highflow cat and I know thats what is making it pretty much loud.
I remember when i had my 3.1L V6 corsica i put on a dynomax turbo something muffler or whatever and it sounded nice to me... but when the shop installed a new catalytic converter, it got LOUDER. lol
Thanks

I have a very nice idle with mine, anything over 2k rpms under load drowns out my stereo so I need to turn it up. you can always hear it inside the cabin. more than likely its going to have less amount of volume than the rumbler, but maybe not as quiet as you want. what sort of sound are you exactly looking for?

no i have one and the rumbler is alout louder magna flwo sound great at idea but i get raspy up at about 2000 rpm like ellik said if i was you i would go with the slp loud mouth thats prob the best out there for v6's
i wouldnt say the magnaflow is raspy at all at 2k, just loud. I think it sounds great up to 4500 or so... though I have headers and high flow cat too.
For what your looking for, you might be completely happy with a v6 Flowmaster with the resonator setup.

Thats what I have. I love it. Just order the LT1 system instead of the LS1 system. direct bolt up, comes with the S-pipe. Actually, the only thing you have to do is the S-pipe comes with a ball and socket flange on one end, so cut that off with a hacksaw obout 1/2" back and band-clamp it directly to your cat... or have it welded.
