Hey guys! As you know I don't post too much here. I'm working on it. I am currently running my car with a flowmaster 80 series muffler. I am thinking about changing to a Spintech 333sc. Does anybody here run that? It's a crossflow just like the 80 series but it's supposed to eliminate that high RPM rice sound that I can't seem to get around.
or
What about that new American Thunder for the V6. Does that sound good?
Thanks in advance.

Well it is kinda hard to get rid of that rasp with the stcok I-pipe and cat. I will soon be getting the American Thunder 3inch system with a high flow catco cat on my car. I will report how it sounds once it is on there.

firebirdguy, I have my new flowmaster system (17356) for the 95 v6 sitting here next to me and Im going to be installing it on Saturday so I will let you know how it sounds. I also got the catco high flow cat but I opted to go with the direct replacement instead of the 3 inch. But I will still give you my opinion.
Ive heard the 3" in and dual 2.5" out spintech on a 2.8 S10 and it didnt have the ricey sound so I am propably going that direction myself.

Well you will have that raspy sound with any V6. Flowmaster has the least amount of it. Keep the Flowmaster, its one of the best. If you get 3 inch pipes, you will lose some power, and possibly hurt it. I know many of you will argue with me about that but it can happen.

I wouldn't say you'd 'lose' power, you'd just put it in a higher RPM range (more top end as opposed to low end).
