I guess it comes with one, Here's the quote I read:
    <blockquote>quote:</font><hr> 17358 - 98-02 Camaro 3.8L V-6, 2.50"DOR 3.00"SS tips. American Thunder (2.25" cat stock)(resonator)
    $272.00

Unless you get the one for 5.7, which if I remember right, you can fit on our cars but I think you'll need an adaptor.

But I'm really not sure about the resonator that comes with American Thunder (I did a search for "resonator" and "American Thunder", came up with nothing.). I know they put resonators sometimes to cover up the rice sound. But as I mentioned, I haven't ready anything negative on the American Thunder, just vague "sounds good".

Peeps with the American Thunder, come out please!!

I have the American Thunder for the V8 if you want to hear what it sounds like on my car. Be sure and notice my other mods though also. Actually I liked the sound better before I ditched the cat but the top end gain was great. www.geocities.com/ttop34/Exhaust.html

I just noticed the primary links aren't working any more, use the alternates till I get them fixed.

i have a small stock gm resonator with a stock ss muffler, and i love the way it sounds... i had a straight pipe before, no cat, and it sounded too raspy. the resonator didn't take away from performance, and it sounds damn good throughout the rpm range. good luck
