• Rumbler and pacesetters getting installed today

I had a list of 20 shops to put on my rumbler and pacesetters. I got through the first 19 and no one would install the headers. Luckily for me the 20th one would. They are installing my pacesetters, rumbler, and high flow cat for $250-325. He said the most would be $325 but most likely it will be about $250. From what i know this is a damn good price for getting all of that installed. So after buying the pacesetters rumbler and high flow cat and then getting them installed its gonna total out at $920. Now im just waiting on it to go have some fun.

you are gonna love it when you get it back!

it will seem like you have a totally dif. car.

i went from totally stock to headers and catback at the same time and it is a big improvement.

I can garuntee you the mechanics will slit their bosses throat for making them install the headers for so little payment. Either way they will NOT be grinning when they get done.

yea Will ive had same problem.. i went to a couple exhaust shops around here and i live near detroit so theres sooo many auto shops around here like on this one road in 3 miles there was 21 different auto places like oil, parts, trans, exhaust evertyhing.. and most of the exhaust shops wouldnt even install the headers and i found this one and took it to him and he said he will do the headers, y-pipe, cat, and hook the 2.75" i-pipe i got off a Z-28 up to my flowmaster that i have on there now for $260-300 so im getting basically same deal you are.. i am prolly getting mine done on monday, cant wait will get videos of it also

I went ahead and gave the guy the gaskets that come with the headers instead of getting metal ones. I just hope i didnt make a mistake by doing that.

Putting on headers was easy. I did the whole install on my own over the weekend. The problem is with the bending of one primary away from the steering linkage. The Y pipe flange will have to be cut cause it's hitting the driver's side K member and it won't line up right so it might have to be bend some. And lastly, the design where the Y pipe meets the headers is bad and they will leak. But if the headers were a nice high quality set, then one person can do it in a couple of hours no problem.
