I know that SLP has an intake elbow for our cars that they send with their cold air induction kits, but is it the same elbow that the lt1 has?? Just wanted to see if I could purchase a cheap take off LT1 elbow, clean it up, and install it on mine with my intake. Also need to know if that piece on the bottom of the elbow is closed off like the one on SLP's 1LE Elbow or if it is open. I assume that the IAT sensor hole is already there on the lt1 elbow as well and will accept my stock IAT sensor. Thanx again!

The LT1 elbow is oval, while yours is round. Depending on the year, the 3.8 manifold is either straight or offset, so that might cause clearance issues. The LT1 elbow also has provisions for the optispark vent tube and fitting, and also a fitting for the AIR injection pump.Big cam. Big stall. Big nuts.

Idle/Rev Clip.
