Nah, the SLP is tried and true. Its a good product. Don't spend the $200 on it new though, keep an eye out for a used one. I picked mine up for $90.
As for Pacesetter headers? Your results will vary. Mine, were shaped wrong, so I bent them. Then the flange didn't fix past the frame, so I cut it. Then the EGR leaked, so I blocked it off. Now they are workin great. Its all in how much work you are willing to do. Seeing as though I paid $250 for a full ceramic coated set, I was willing to do some work to make them work.
Only thing I haven't done in my package yet is the cat. Otherwise I have SLP CAI, Pacesetter headers and a Flowmaster catback. As it is now I'm pretty happy with the sound.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap
