I disagree i ran worse times with a whisper lid than i ran with my stock lid i have every exshuast mod done and a FTRA and nothin i ran worse so i dont thing they really do anything i think of it more as a apperance mod.

I use the lid in my SC and it is alot better than CAI or cone filter. I highly recommend it, plus it gets rid of that air baffles. GM had put those to lessen up the idling but with the lid the air just goes straight to the throttle body. I also like the way it looks.
