Is it a leak?

Ok, I have checked my engine (mostly listening with the otoscope) and tranny and I cannot find the tapping....it is not audible under idle only acceleration and driving...I understand that an exhaust leak can sound like tapping...I check the exhaust and can't see anything...but not really sure what to look for.....how can I tell if it is an exhaust leak? Would it be at the headers? How can I find this tapping? It's driving me friggin nuts! :mad:

If its an exhaust leak you most likely won't see it without removing things and looking real close. Look for black burn marks on anything u can see tho.

Yea u can hear my stuff ticking at idle. If under load u only hear exhaust and engine tho so no way in hell u could hear the injectors.
