I read a post from 2003 that stated that a MAFT of MAFT+ only helped if your car was out of tune.
I have a 2002 and I would say it's OK. But I have no way of testing this and was wondering if it was worth buying a MAFT+. If it won't help, I will spend my $$$ elsewhere. But if it can, I will.
Any opinions?

Its a tuning device. It helps most if your car is out of tune because you can tune it to run better and more performance oriented. If your car isn't out of tune you can still tune it to be more performance oriented. To say its ONLY useful if your out of tune is a asinine comment but of course you would notice a much larger change if your car is out of tune.

Just adding timing can give you nice gains. If you have any intake mods your air/fuel is already not what it supposed to be. MAF sensor is calibrated for stock intake air flow. Even if you are stock, the air/fuel is not optimal.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
