Well, i decided to try it out and see what kind of difference it made, I also routed a pipe under the car up through bay to blow ice cold air on to it, no way water could get to it and now it colds consistent cold air as well.
1. Awesome sucking sound and gurgly sound, loving it.
2. Awesome performance boost, very nice.
3. no problems yet!
I'll keep you all posted and with pictures asap.

How did you get a filter to stay there and what kind of filter did you use? What about the electrical equipment such as the oxygen sensor that is supposed to be there, what did you do with those?
i had a 9 inch K&N filter on my car for a while. it works fine, for a while... then your car turns off if the rps drop below 800 and the car is warm. maybe i just had bad luck. btw it turned off goind on the freeway during a 35 mph curve, steering gets HEAVY! almost went into the dirt. just a little heads up

Your car doesn't turn off if it drops below 800rpm's, mine idles at 700. Take a listen if you want, it's on my site now. There's a direct link in my recent post.

well, my car turned off if the rpms dropped too low. i put the factory airbox back on and voila! no more problems.
I had the 9" k&N that is sold at grandprixstore.com for the grand prix gtp. i bought it never knowing i would keep the firebird, not the gtp. the o2 sensor you just disconect and leave it hanging in the engine bay, didn't matter for me.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
