Greetings all! I am new to this forum, but certianly not new to the GM scene (although, my FWD GM currently out number my RWD 3-1 ).
My partner and I run a small business which specializes in designing and selling functional Cold Air Intake systems for some of the 'less popular' models of cars (like the Beretta, of which I am a fan). We also do custom intakes for just about any car.
Anyhow, I had customer contact me about doing a cold air intake for a 99 3.8 Auto Camaro. I spent about 1/2 the day Saturday and threw something together for him, and it turned out pretty nice. I was talking with him, and he mentioned that it was pretty hard to find a decent intake system for that engine/year that didn't cost an arm and a leg - so I decided to feel out the demand on something like this, and if I can get a few interested parties, then I think they'd be a go.
Here is a link to a few snapshots I took of the design:

It's made from mandrel bent 3" T6061 polished aluminum tubing and the filter sits down in the fender under the drivers headlight.
This kit would retail for about $159.
So, whatcha think?
