    Does anybody have any ideas for a custom ram air for the 96-97 3.8 cars?? Right now I have the SLP CAI. All ideas and theorys are welcome...BE INVENTIVE! :D

    ya theres a few guys that have put dryer tubing right underneath the filter and an angle like thing....I got an 00' so I cant totally explain it to you....get them to reply and you got it....I dont think they experienced big gains though ;)

      I cut a hole in the plastic underneath and made basically a scoop and sealed it so it basically sucks air up into the filters.

      If I get a chance I'll take pictures and get em posted but it may not be for a few weeks!

          I think it would be sweet if there was a way to hook up one of those hood scoops that sticks out of the top of the hood and has the butterflies that twist when you hit the throttle. They are designed for carbed engines. I wish that somebody made something like that for our cars.

              I got a 97 with a Harwood ram air hood does anyone know what ram air box will work in conjunction w/ my hood / engine?(3.8)

              I think the one from the slp ultra z would work but I am not positive
              1997 30th Anniversary A4 w/ some mods
