rpms fluctuate when I'm in nuetral and moving

if i'm driving then throw it in nuetral, it revs ro like 2k rpms then back down

I think it did this after i installed my hiflow car, maybe I forgot to do something?

the SES has been on for months, maybe this is why?

do the rpms bounce around and the car won't hold an idle, or does it jump once when you throw it into neutral and then it idles fine? if it's the first, you may wanna check for vacuum leaks.

Is your maf screen still in place? Also what kind of high flow cat do you have and did your SES light come on in result of the high flow cat?

i first noticed it after installing the cat

its a hiflow catco, 3"

i think SES may have already been on not sure

car won't hold idle, keeps going up and down

goto a autozone and find out what the code is that is triggering the SES light and then we will go from there autozone will scan it for free

Less restriction on the exhaust will make your revs hold high longer. IF your not getting an ses and its just going to 2krpm then back to normal I wouldnt worry about it.
