  • Got my headers on

I got the clear Image headers put on this weekend and toaday took to the shop to have them weld the Y pipe to the rest of the exhaust (which they did a very bad job, rattles like hell) it feels very different alot smoother. And I don't think the sounds is louder at all just no more poping noise. I love that the plugs were so eazy to put back in.

Sounds cool, I am debating if i should get the Clear image headers as well. I got a B&B cat back sitting in the garage and wondering if i should get that and the headers installed at the same time of if that is a bad idea. any inputs? if you were to have the headers installed again would you have taken it somewhere? also do you gotta replace the plugs when you put headers on and why?

I would have done it myself again. This was my first big project I have ever done on any car and was not too bad, sure it took alot of time for me to do it but most of that time was spent on finding the right tool for the right job. But I am thinking that with the header and the 3in. pipe together might me to much , but then again some time in the next 2 year I will be putting on a supercharger so I thinks its worth it.

They're the only ones selling the Clear Image headers. They custom make the headers when you order them, they don't prebuild and have stock sitting around waiting for an order to come in.

There are rksport headers (2 flange vs 3 flange) and the pacesetters that have never come out.

YEa when you order your CIA headers they start making them for you so it would take longer to get them
