I was surfing the web and found a soud clip of the loud mouth on a 3.8 V6 (firebird) and thought i would share it w/ all the V6 guys that wants to know what the loud mouth will sound like on their 6ers. I would also like to say its sound very good for a V6
98 white Camaro V6 w/ factory GFX
Stock for now.
Future mods: CIA header, Whisper air induction lid, SLP Loudmouth exhaust and with more to come in the future.
I beg to differ. I think it sounds pretty good, just got a little bit of that asthmatic sound on the free revs (they all do). Sounded real nice, very similar to my car, just without the lope:) Enjoy!

It's about as loud as running open manifolds. But sounds better then opened manifolds when revved with the bullet muffler on there. I think it would sound alright if it wasn't so loud. I mean I think my flowmaster is a little too loud already, let alone a loudmouth.
Just to clarify something, the LM does not have a bullet muffler. It has a small chamber of emptiness, also called a resonator. If you want the cleaner sound of the bullet muffler after the Y and cat, The Rumbler is what you're looking for:)

I'm curious about the Rumbler... how does it sound with your cam? Did it sound alright without it, or did you cam it first? Thx!
Had the cam long before the Rumbler. I love the way it sounds, but I also don't have to worry about what my parents think about my car and it being a bit loud. I also have headers and no cat. It lopes hard, and can be heard from a distance. Another member of the site will hopefully have a sound clip of his car up this weekend or early next week, with his stock manifolds, and a high flow cat:)

So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
