I'm getting headers for my car, but first I have to send out my manifolds. I'm taking them off now w/ the y-pipe, but I was curious if I would be able to drive my car around with them off until I recieve the headers. Nowhere far, just like 5-10 miles. Thanks.

don't do it.
My egr, came a little loos and the little leak form that fried my ignition wires on my pasasenger side.
you will be putting alot of heat on alot of plastic and electronics.
And don't you know carbon monoxide is poisnonous? every where you drive you will be riding trhought a cloud of it.
Jeez I start to notice how mad it is at sotplights with exhaust coming out fomr under the car.Comment
