My girlfriend was looking at a newer Grand Prix and I popped the hood. I saw a big plastic cover over the motor, of course I pulled it off. Underneath was what looked like a minature LS1 intake manifold with the round thingys (runners?) on top. It looked sweet. Anyway, would this fit in a Camaro? It was a 3.8L engine. And does anyone think this thing would flow any better or worse than the one on a '97?
One problem I can think of is the intake manifold on those cars are made for front wheel drive and the engine is mounted sideways. Not front to back like ours. So even if it did fit your air intake and throttle body would be crammed right next to your firewall. I dont think it would fit and it would be lots of trouble with no gains in HP.
