Hey guys, I found a deal for a Flowmaster cat back system for 200 bucks. The inlet tube is 2 1/2 inches, it goes into a 3 chamber flowmaster. Then it goes out the outlet tubes which are 2 1/4. It has polished 2 1/2 inch aluminum tips.
Should I get it? Please, I need a response ASAP. Thanks
sounds good to me but, I get my exhaust done on thursday i am sooo happy

I found out the system is a take off from a 2002 Trans Am....the guy says he doesnt know what series the muffler is. I still want it, but am uncertain what Im gonna be getting. Will it sound ricey?
$311, and that's what I paid for brand new parts. If I had looked around more (and known what to look for), I don't think $250 would be too low of an estimate.
$200 for a cat-back might be a good deal. If you wanted to, you may be able to save some bucks by trying to find someone who doesn't need their LT1/LS1 I-pipe and slapping together your own cat-back.
I have no idea how it'll sound for you, but I hope I helped a little!
i paod 280 for my flowmaster install. not sure exactly one price sepc. but it was 280 for full install of my 2 chamber flowmaster with 2.5 intler and dual 3 outlet w/ 3.5 inch chrom e angled cut tips.
the way you described it makes it seem as if its a flowmaster muffler welded onto the stock I pipe from the ls1 or lt1. well that and some good tips. go for it.
Another thing I forgot to ask was, how is the routing on a 2002 Firebird compared to my 97 Camaro, which will be the car this exhaust will go on. Will it be a hassle to mount all this stuff?
Two 40 Series Flowmasters - $ 25 apiece
Bunch of misbent pipe sections - Free from Midas
Lincoln AC225 Stick Welder - $125
8 Hours under the car - Priceless
My Dual Flowmaster system, thats what happens when I get a welder for my birthday...
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
