• Where to put cutout?

I did a search, but could not find out which is the better place, before or after the cat. I have a stock cat on a 3.8L. I want it to sound good and loud, so where should I put it? Thanks.

Put it in place of the cat if you want it LOUD, or in my case I put a glasspack in place of my cat and the cut-out right before the rear axle.

How does a cutout sound on a 6? Any buzz or fart cannon at all? Anyone have any audio clips or videos I can download. Id be interested to hear this...

That's all you hear if you go above 3000 rpm. But below that, it sounds great.

lol if you go over 3k rpm with mine open you won't be able to hear, let alone percieve a fart cannon noise.

Mine sounds good at any RPM with it closed and its insanely loud with it open. I'll try to get a sound clip of it this week sometime for ya.

Trust me, I know what loud exhaust sounds like, and what rice sounds like. I did a custom exhaust setup on my LT1 Corvette, ran straight pipes and no mufflers
