  • RK Sport headers on

Finally got around to doing this mod. Had to take the car into the shop anyway because of a coolant leak in the intake manifold. Powerband definitely feels diffferent now. I have very little low-end power, but once I get on the gas, I can tell it accelerates quicker above 3000 rpm now. My exhaust consists of the rk sport headers(1 3/4" primaries, 2.5" secondaries into a 3" hollowed out cat., 3" exhaust with a flowmaster 80 series and quad glasspack tips. Another thing I noticed was that the car warmed up a lot slower than it used to. The ceramic coating definitely helps with underhood heat reduction. I would recommend these headers to people with cars that have all basic bolt-on's and who plan on doing more.

oh yea, on startup I was suprised. It does get a lot louder. I'm gonna put some dynamat back in the storage compartment before I drive back to california because I couldn't handle 22 hours at that volume. sounds better too. It's not ricey, but not like a V8, it's unique.
